Aerobic Exercise is Toxic

February 9, 2015

Dr. Fox comments regarding American College of Cardiologist article: 12 Year Study of Joggers
Finally, a large study validating the idea that aerobic exercise is not good.  How many of us have known the runner who was the “most healthy person around” who dropped dead while running?  Based on our metabolic and hormonal evaluation of aerobic exercise, we find that it is toxic, especially for women.  It causes a severe reduction of estrogen that causes anxiety, stress, depression, memory problems, concentration problems, joint pain, mood changes, headaches, hot flashes, night sweats etc etc….. sound familiar?  The most distressing symptom for women is skin wrinkling.  Think about it and look at someone in your life who is a big aerobic exerciser and think about their age and how they look.  They look 10 years older right?  We see it every day as we meet patients and know their age!!  We are seeing an epidemic of infertility caused by this exercise revolution.
We can help these symptoms and counsel patients on a healthier lifestyle.  Walking at slow pace in your neighborhood combined with a slow protocol resistance training regime once or twice a week for 30-45mins is the best approach.  If you think you were relaxed running or with aerobics, you will be amazed at the transformation with this approach.  Combine this with appropriate nutrition and hormonal support and you will be a new person!  We can help you achieve this goal…….
