Gestational Surrogacy

Gestational surrogacy is an option for couples in which the woman is unable to carry a child due to anatomic (i.e. hysterectomy) or complicated medical reasons.  The process would entail performing IVF and retrieving oocytes to generate embryos.  After an extensive evaluation and acceptance of the surrogate into our program, the surrogate would undergo an endometrial stimulated cycle in which we prepare the uterus for the transfer of an embryo.  The process entails synchronizing the embryo with the lining of the uterus.

At JCRM, we have used known surrogates, as well as those recruited from surrogacy agencies.
