Candace M. Gates, RN, MSN, ARNP, NP-C

Candace originally obtained her Associate of Science in Nursing from Macon State College in 2005. Her nursing career has consisted of 8 years as a Labor and Delivery registered nurse, one year in Cardiovascular Intensive Care, two years as an OB/GYN office nurse, and two semesters as a clinical instructor for Georgia College and State University in Maternal/Newborn Nursing.

She graduated from Walden University in November of 2014 with a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner. She has  completed a total of 576 practicum clinical hours in Primary Care of the Adult, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. She successfully passed the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners certification examination in December 2014 and Georgia and Florida Board of Nursing certified in Advanced Practice. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.

Candace understand the struggle with infertility first hand.  This has made her extremely compassionate and understanding in this area of her expertise.
