Irregular Periods May Be Linked To Higher Risk Of Ovarian Cancer

Linking irregular periods to cancer seems like some feature of female hormones or gynecologic issues would cause the cancer. Remember, these are simply epidemiologic studies that do not infer causation. So one can not say that the irregular cycles somehow caused the increased risk of cancer or is directly related to ovarian cancer. In fact, I would argue that insulin resistance is the biggest cause of irregular cycles and we clearly know that high insulin is related to all types of cancer. Diabetics have a distinct increased risk of all cancers. So the most likely explanation is the insulin resistance being the common cause of both irregular periods and ovarian cancer. Remember, all the accounts of stone age populations from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s were consistent in the absence of cancer even into old age. Diet is clearly the difference between those societies and western society. Just more evidence to pursue LCHF!!!
