You Really Don’t Need Supplements

Here’s another report from NY where the state studied many vitamins and found that only a fraction of the available vitamins and supplements in GNC,Target Walmart etc had anything resembling the claims on the label.  This article discusses independent evaluation of these products and offers some good suggestions.  We would always say, however, if you are taking a GOOD multivitamin and Vit D and B12 if needed, and eating a good diet, and have maximized your hormonal status with a person who understands hormones, you shouldn’t really need any supplements.  If you are a weight lifter, some pure protein soon after a workout is helpful.  Otherwise, don’t waste your money!!
